Her sharp sense of color and spatial awareness have been remarkable since she was a child, and she strongly displays her own world by covering furniture and toys with stickers.

She has been drawing since she was a child and has over 50 sketchbooks, and those who like paintings often call her the second Yayoi Kusama, but although the impact and worldview of Yayoi Kusama’s works are on the same vector, her works are completely different.

When I asked her about the intention of her works, she said that she “leaves it up to the colors.” She says that “colors” make her draw.

In order to broaden her daughter’s horizons, SHIZUKU traveled to Egypt, the birthplace of civilization, when she was in the sixth grade of elementary school. SHIZUKU was shocked by the children on the streets and began to long for a world where children all over the world would have no trouble getting food.

Both of her grandparents were designers, and her grandmother’s father, who was SHIZUKU’s great-grandfather, designed for Morishita Jintan and Kirin Beer.
